tangled is a wildly popular movie, definitely the most popular of disney’s recent films, and it follows that there is more tangled fanart being created than fanart for any other movie.

it’s my usual pet peeve about crossovers. the movies literally have absolutely fucking nothing to do with each other. i can’t say much about jack or hiccup because i haven’t seen those movies yet (i know, i know, get with the program ally) but i’m a huge fan of both brave and tangled and i can say quite confidently that merida would probably be irritated to no end by rapunzel. as far as i can tell, the movies are all set in different places and time periods and there’s no reason at all to think that these characters would ever come across each other or even like each other. i get that they’re ~fairytales~ and that anything is possible, but for me, i like to accept the realities of the fairytale as that fairytale’s canon and not just assume that because it’s a fairytale that random, unprecedented things such as crossovers would ever happen or make sense.

I agree. I don’t mind if people do crossovers or whatever, but really… It’s just not my thing.
i have made it quite clear how i feel about crossovers before (cliffsnotes: i hate them) but no crossover has ever bothered me as much as the big four
